Veel schade na brand op straat in Rotterdam Centrum

Bij een korte brand aan de Kromme Elleboog, achter de Witte de Withstraat in Rotterdam, zijn uit voorzorg elf appartementen ontruimd geweest. De brand was snel uit, maar zorgde wel voor veel rook- en waterschade in de naastgelegen skateshop.

Het vuur ontstond woensdagochtend rond 05.30 uur op straat. Drie scooters van pizzakoeriers en een vuilcontainer zijn in de as gelegd en een auto is total loss. Niemand raakte gewond.

Door de brand kwam skatewinkel RSI The Attraction vol rook te staan. Ook ligt de zaak vol bluswater. De eigenaar van de winkel weet nog niet of hij woensdag open kan.
